On September 18 the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UATE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “EventToura” Event Tourism Development Agency to collaborate on logistics and volunteer management for the 2024 World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT2024/DigiTec).

UATE Executive Director Sargis Karapetyan and “EventToura” Co-founder and Executive Director Mary Badalyan signed the memorandum aimed at jointly organizing the Event and ensuring the visitors’ positive experience.

"As an organization specializing in large-scale event management, we fully understand the role of volunteers in such events and the importance of providing them with appropriate guidance. Through this collaboration, we commit to coordinating the logistics of WCIT2024/DigiTec to ensure that all guests have an exceptional and positive experience,"- said Mary Badalyan, "EventToura" Co-founder and Executive Director.

Within the framework of the collaboration, we will join our efforts to organize the volunteer recruitment, planning, and coordination throughout the entire event, as well as managing the guest registration, queue management to ensure smooth guidance, positive guest experience, QR code ticket verification, and providing information regarding the schedule and timing of speeches.

"We always emphasize the importance of volunteers in such large events. They are the first to greet the guests and visitors, and it is crucial to support the recognition and enhancement of the role of the volunteers, to value their work․ This is also a great opportunity to get involved in community work with partner organization,"- said Sargis Karapetyan, Executive Director of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE).
